Developed by our company in 1990, the anchored profiles were first used in 2010 in the UK's Lee Tunnel and gained popularity from there on.
Anchored sealing profiles are installed during the manufacturing process of the individual precast segments. Here, the profiles are installed into the formwork molds with a special clipping procedure keeping the gasket frame in position during the production of the segment. With the anchoring feet on the underside of the profile, the seal is permanently attached to the segment and thus offers a secure hold during transport, storage, and installation in the tunnel.
Our anchored profiles are used in the Oslo Follo Line Tunnel, which has been part of Norway's largest transport project since construction began in 2015. SEALABLE also supplies the Grand Paris Express project, one of the most extensive metro projects in Europe.
With more than ten years of experience, SEALABLE is one of the leading manufacturers of anchored sealing profiles. Compared to glued gaskets, the profiles have anchoring feet on the underside, which are fixed in the concrete segment.
