The pandemic has changed the everyday life of many people. Whether work from home, “short-time work” or home schooling. It's time to look to the future. We want to give trainees and job hunters a new perspective here at SEALABLE.
At the job fair in Erfurt 2021
We at SEALABLE were part of the Erfurt 2021 job fair. Despite difficult conditions due to hygiene requirements, we were having a success last weekend. Our team had the opportunity to meet great personalities and make initial contacts with future trainees.
Especially due to the prevailing shortage of skilled workers and the increasing need to replace qualified employees, we were happy to present SEALABLE as a great employer and to finally welcome interested parties to our booth.
In 2021 alone, more than 28,000 training positions could not be filled. In Thuringia in particular, a vacancy can only be filled after an average of 184 days. Our HR Manager Anika Bessing-Schmidt commented on the advantages of a job fair as follows:
“Job fairs are a great way to spread the word about the company and meet great new people.”
Especially in the last few months of the pandemic, many people found it difficult to find direct contacts with employers. Young people often do not know which direction they want to take after they graduate from school. During the pandemic, they were often denied the opportunity to get to know different companies through internships or jobs during vacation. Through the job fair, our team was able to inform about our vacancies and clarify directly possible questions from applicants.
