I Shaping the future with confidence
A hands-on company experience
For the sixth time, Gleisdreieck opened its doors for the apprenticeship fair organized by the local business association. Companies from Waltershausen and the surrounding area presented themselves, offering insights into their production processes and operations, while highlighting future prospects and career opportunities. Around 300 participating students from the region were not only able to take part in engaging hands-on activities where they could demonstrate their skills and commitment, but were also well catered for by the Waltershausen business association. Although overall attendance was slightly lower than in previous years, the atmosphere remained just as positive. There was even dancing on stage, and numerous companies attracted visitors with exciting insights into their working world.
Both the quality of the conversations this year and the specific questions regarding training and career opportunities were significantly stronger than in previous years.
The combination of fun and ambition in our interactive activities, along with the growing interest, especially among girls, in technical and industrial professions, once again made the apprenticeship fair in Waltershausen a highlight at the beginning of the year.

Impressions
I’ve been seeing SEALABLE at this apprenticeship fair for the past three years and have been looking forward to finally being able to apply. This year, it worked out!

A lot of industry, but little presence from the social sector
This year’s apprenticeship fair at Gleisdreieck painted a clear picture: industrial and technical companies dominated the offering, while social and administrative career paths were barely represented. This imbalance was noticed by many visitors, especially female visitors. Although more and more girls are showing interest in technical and scientific professions, the demand for training opportunities in the social sector and administration remains high.
There was plenty happening at our booth as well. A key highlight was our claw machine, where skill and precision were required: alongside small consolation prizes, our black ducks and even the occasional main prize, were waiting to be won by skillful participants. As in previous years, shooting enthusiasts could also try their hand at our duck shooting game. Our photo wall captured lots of fun memories, and at the profile heart workshop, visitors got a first hands-on impression of our material: rubber.
For us, the apprenticeship fair at Gleisdreieck marks the annual kickoff of our employer branding event season. Through our regular participation over the past years, we’ve firmly established our presence on site. We are now seen as a welcome premium exhibitor, known for our positive energy, strong commitment, and engaging activities at the booth year after year.
